British Columbia has a population of 4.61 Millions, it is the extreme west of Canada. More than 2.5 Millions peoples live in the greater Vancouver city area. The province of “Beautiful British Columbia” is considered to be the most breath-taking in the country. From the Rocky Mountains to the Pacific Ocean, it is a traveller’s paradise.
With a wide range of activities: Kayaking, River Rafting, Camping or Horse Back-Riding. If you are not into the extremes or sport-oriented activities there is the Wax Museum in the city of Victoria on Vancouver Island, you will find many wineries in the Okanagan Valley or catch a sunset on Golf Island. Remember to go fishing in the “Salmon capital” of B.C. in Campbell River on the Island as well.
If you go about 2 hours away from Vancouver is the 2010 Olympic city of Whistler. Wedged at the foot of the mountain, you’ll find world class restaurants and accommodations, skying into the month of June is not a far-fetched possibility. Find many more small-town like settings: Osoyoos, Naramata or Kelowna in the B.C. interior.
